Just got a new camera and it takes these gorgeous panorama photos. I kinda feel like I am cheating coz it does everything in the camera for the most part. Still I love being able to get those shots and not have to look at them and feel I missed part of it.

 

I love finding thing to shoot that turn out to be more than I thought they would. Or that perfectly represent what I was thinking at the time. I used to spend a lot of time in this house and had some unexplained experiences there as well. It was a happy time and it makes me sad to see it looking so lonely now. But in some ways...it always did.

 

My first attempt at "Rembrandt" lighting.

 

This is the best photo of my husband. He hates to have his picture taken and with this shot you see him in his element without really seeing him. :)

 

I am still learning to use all the settings and what not on my camera. I know it will take me forever but... I like that idea. :) I have a special fondness for water and light on water and was pretty happy how this shot came out. It is the first time I was able to figure out how to tweak the exposure to get closer to what my eye sees...minus the color of course. :)

 

Taking the long way home usually will result in a photo or two I like. Took Kate to work and came upon this little creek.
